What you can post to Discord
One channel, no bot
A webhook can post to one channel and nothing else. It cannot read messages or reach the rest of your server.
Your own name and avatar
Choose the name and picture the announcement appears under.
Silent messages
Post without notifying the channel.
@everyone only when you mean it
An @everyone in the text only pings the whole server if you switch it on.
Link previews on or off
Show or hide the preview cards for links in the message.
AI that drafts it for you
Describe the post in one line and the AI drafts the caption. Change the Discord version without touching the other networks.
How it works
- 1Create a webhook
In the channel settings in Discord, create a webhook and copy its link.
- 2Paste it
Paste the link in Social Publish. There is no sign-in and no bot to invite.
- 3Write once
Write the announcement, or let the AI draft it, and pick Discord plus any other network.
- 4Schedule it
Pick a time. The announcement is posted then.
What you need
Paste a key you create
- A Discord server where you can edit channels.
- The Manage Webhooks permission on that server.
Questions
Do I need to add a bot to my server?
No. Discord uses a webhook, a private link to one channel that you create in the channel settings and can delete at any time.
Can I post to several channels?
Yes. Create one webhook per channel and connect each one.
Can I see analytics for Discord?
No. A webhook can only post, so there are no numbers to read back.
Is there a free plan?
There is a free trial instead of a free plan. The current plans and the trial length are on the pricing page.
