Connect Discord

Available now Paste a key you create

Discord uses a webhook — a private link to one channel. There is no sign-in, and the link only ever works for that one channel.

2 things to prepare 4 steps
Connect Discord

You create a key, token or app password on the network yourself, then paste it into a short form here.

Before you start

  • A Discord server where you can edit channels.
  • The Manage Webhooks permission on that server.

Step by step

  1. 1
    Open the channel's settings

In Discord, hover the channel you want to post to and press the gear icon, or right-click it and choose Edit Channel.

  2. 2
    Go to Integrations, then Webhooks

Press New Webhook. You can rename it and give it an avatar — that name and picture are what your posts will appear as.

  3. 3
    Copy the webhook URL

Press Copy Webhook URL. Treat it like a password: anyone holding it can post to that channel.

  4. 4
    Connect in Social Publish

Go to Accounts, press Connect Account, choose Discord, and paste the URL.

If something goes wrong

Posting fails with a not-found error.

The webhook was deleted in Discord, or the channel was removed. Create a new webhook and reconnect.

There is no Integrations option.

You do not have Manage Webhooks on that server. Ask the server owner.

Posts show the wrong name or picture.

That comes from the webhook itself. Edit it in the channel's Integrations settings.
