Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 13 October 2026
You can remove your data from Social Publish AI at any time, and you do not need to contact us to do it. This page explains exactly how — whether you want to disconnect a single social account, close your account, have everything we hold about you erased, or revoke our access from the social platform's own settings.
2. Delete Your Account
This closes your account. It is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Sign in and open Profile from the sidebar.
- Go to the Security tab and scroll to the Delete Account section.
- Click Delete Account and type DELETE to confirm. If your account has a password, you also enter it; if you sign in only through Google, LinkedIn or another sign-in provider, typing DELETE is enough.
- Your sign-in is closed and your subscription stops renewing. Your name, email address, phone number, profile photo and sign-in links are erased straight away; we keep only an anonymous record that the account existed, the date you accepted our Terms, and the billing records the law requires us to keep.
- In every workspace you created: posts still waiting to be published are cancelled, and every connected social account is disconnected and its access token deleted. The analytics collected for those accounts are deleted 7 days later.
- The AI data of those workspaces is deleted: the Knowledge Base, AI chat history, the brand voice and the AI images you created. AI agents there stop running.
- Posts already published and drafts are not deleted automatically. To have them erased as well, email us as described in "Request Deletion by Email" below and we will erase them within 30 days.
3. Export Your Data First
Deletion is permanent, so you may want a copy first. In Profile → Security → Data & Privacy, click Export my data to download your profile, posts, connected accounts, notification settings, brand voice and Knowledge Base sources as a JSON file.
4. Revoke Our Access From the Social Platform
You can also cut off our access from the platform's own settings, without signing in to Social Publish AI at all. Doing this stops any further data reaching us; to also remove the data we already hold, follow one of the steps above.
- Facebook: go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select Social Publish AI, and click Remove.
- Instagram & Threads: managed through the same Meta Apps and Websites settings as Facebook.
- Google / YouTube: visit your Google account permissions page and remove access.
- LinkedIn: go to Settings & Privacy → Data Privacy → Permitted Services and remove the app.
- Pinterest: go to Settings → Security → Apps, find Social Publish AI, and remove its access.
- Other platforms: each platform has an equivalent connected-apps screen in its own settings.
5. What Happens After Deletion
- Access tokens are destroyed immediately, so we can no longer reach any platform on your behalf.
- The Knowledge Base, chats, brand voice and AI images of the workspaces you created are removed from our active systems straight away.
- Encrypted backups are rotated on a rolling schedule and any remaining copies are purged within 30 days.
- We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices and tax records, and nothing else.
- Content already published to a social platform is owned by that platform and is not deleted by us — remove it there if you want it gone.
6. Request Deletion by Email
To erase everything — including your posts and drafts — or if you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject Data Deletion Request. We verify the request, action it, and confirm by email within 30 days.
