Connect LinkedIn
The quickest network to connect — one sign-in and you are done. Worth knowing up front: LinkedIn lets tools post, but not read anything back.
A window opens on the network's own site. You sign in there and approve access — nothing to copy or paste.
Before you start
- A LinkedIn account you can sign in to.
- Posts go to your personal profile. Company Page posting is not part of this connection.
Step by step
- 1Open Accounts
In Social Publish, go to Accounts in the left menu and press Connect Account.
- 2Pick LinkedIn
Choose the LinkedIn tile, then press Connect. A LinkedIn sign-in window opens.
- 3Sign in and allow
Sign in as the person whose profile should post, then press Allow on LinkedIn's permission screen.
- 4Check it landed
The window closes on its own and the account appears on your Accounts page as Connected.
If something goes wrong
This is a LinkedIn limitation, not a missing feature. LinkedIn does not give third-party tools read access to likes, comments or your post history, so there is nothing for us to fetch. Your posts still publish normally.
Your browser blocked the pop-up. Allow pop-ups for this site and press Connect again.
LinkedIn access expires. Remove the account on the Accounts page and connect it again.
