Connect Facebook
Facebook publishing works on Pages only. There is no way for any tool to post to a personal profile timeline.
A window opens on the network's own site. You sign in there and approve access — nothing to copy or paste.
Before you start
- A Facebook Page.
- A role on that Page that lets you create posts — admin, editor or the equivalent under Page access.
Step by step
- 1Check you can post as the Page
On Facebook, open your Page, then Settings, then Page access, and confirm your name is listed with permission to create posts.
- 2Open Accounts
In Social Publish, go to Accounts and press Connect Account, then choose Facebook.
- 3Sign in and allow
Sign in with the personal Facebook account that manages the Page, and leave every permission ticked on the consent screen.
- 4Choose the Page
Pick the Page you want to publish to. If you manage several, connect each one separately.
If something goes wrong
The account you signed in with does not manage any Page, or you unticked the permission that lists Pages. Sign in as the Page admin and try again.
Facebook access expires. Remove the Page on the Accounts page and connect it again.
