AI-Generated Content Terms

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms apply when you let a Social Publish AI agent post automatically — that is, publish posts it wrote with AI without a person checking each post first. You accept them in the app the first time you choose "Post automatically" for an agent, and again whenever we change them. They add to our Terms of Service, which still apply in full. If these terms and the Terms of Service differ on automatic posting, these terms apply; the governing law and disputes section of the Terms of Service applies to these terms. Social Publish AI is for business use: the person who accepts does so on behalf of the business that uses the account.

1. The short version

  • AI can be wrong. An agent may write something inaccurate, out of date, off-brand, offensive or unexpected.
  • When you choose Post automatically, you decide that its posts go out without a person reviewing each one.
  • You are responsible for everything the agent publishes from your accounts, as if you had written it yourself.
  • You can switch an agent back to Review every post, pause it, or delete a post at any time.

2. What AI-generated content can get wrong

Agents write from the sources you give them, such as your Knowledge Base, and from instructions you set. Even so, AI output is produced automatically and its results cannot be fully predicted. A post may:

  • state a fact, number, price, date, offer or opening time that is wrong or no longer true;
  • misread or leave out something important from your sources;
  • use a tone, word or image that does not suit your brand or audience;
  • resemble content created for someone else, or use material a third party claims rights in;
  • be judged by a social network to break its rules, leading it to limit, remove or restrict a post or account.

3. Your choice and your responsibility

Posting automatically is optional. Every agent can instead send its posts to Approvals, where a person checks and approves them before they go out. By choosing Post automatically you accept that posts may be published without that check.

You remain the publisher of every post made from your connected accounts. You are responsible for checking your agents' settings and sources, for watching what they publish, and for correcting or removing anything that is wrong. You must make sure automatic posts follow the law, the rules of each social network, and any advertising, consumer or industry rules that apply to your business.

4. What we do to reduce mistakes

We run automatic checks before an agent posts. For example, a post that names a price, number or date its sources do not support is held for a person instead of being published. These checks lower the risk; they do not remove it, and they are not a promise that every mistake will be caught.

5. Our liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the limits in our Terms of Service, we are not responsible for the content of posts an agent publishes because you set it to post automatically, or for loss that results from that content — including lost sales, refunds you give, harm to reputation, or action taken by a social network. This does not apply where a post was published because of our own failure, for example a fault in our software that published a post you had set to be reviewed.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

6. Stopping automatic posting

You can switch any agent back to Review every post, pause it, or delete it at any time from the AI Agents page. We may also send agent posts to Approvals for a time — for example while we improve our checks — and will show you why on the post.

7. Record of your acceptance

When you accept these terms we record who accepted, which version, and the date, time and network address of the acceptance. We keep that record as evidence of the agreement, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the date at the top changes and you will be asked to accept the new version before you next set an agent to post automatically. Agents whose owner has not accepted the current version send their posts to Approvals until they do.
